You Don't Have to be Fast, You Just Have to be Last!
The Lastest Not Fastest is a last-person standing style race. For 2023, we have a NEW LOCATION - in the scenic Columbia River Gorge! The course is a 4.1-mile loop on Hamilton Island, in Washington, just west of the Bonneville Dam.
Runners depart every hour, on the hour, and have to be back to the start/finish area before 60 minutes. If you complete the loop in 40 minutes, you have another 19 minutes to rest and recovery for your next loop. If you do it in 50 minutes, you get 9 minutes to get ready to go again. If you take 60 minutes or longer, you are done. The race continues until there is just one runner left standing, er running.
How long do you think you can run?
There is an aid station at the start/finish area so you can run this race totally self-supported. Or, you can bring your besties or family to crew you. Spectators are welcome.
If you need to cancel your registration and it’s more than 30 days prior to the race, you will receive a 50% credit toward a future Go Beyond Racing race. This credit is equal to half the value of the race you registered for and can be applied to any of our races that aren’t already sold out. You can use this credit within 365 days of it being issued. There is no transferring of this credit. If your cancellation is 30 days or less from race day, there is no credit, no refund, or no transfer.
Go Beyond Racing
This event is produced by Go Beyond Racing. We put on over three dozen trail races a year. You can count on every Go Beyond race to:
Local time: 5:30 PM
- Be highly organized with racer safety and satisfaction as top priorities
- Donate to a worthy beneficiary for each race
- Have well-stocked aid stations and the friendliest, most supportive volunteers
- Challenge and reward each participant
- Put more time, money, and energy than most to reduce, reuse, recycle, and lessen the environmental impact of our events
We look forward to sending you off on the trails and welcoming you across the finish line!
