Race Description

Run to Remember 50K and 5 Mile April 22, 2023 . This race was started to remember some of our wonderful club members we have lost. We welcome you to challenge your self in the memory of someone you have lost. The race takes place in Beautiful Piney Run Park, Located 30 Martz Rd. Sykesville, MD 21784. The 50K can be run as a single runner or a team of up to 6 runners. The course is 5-mile loop (to be run 6 times) of woods, meadows, and 50 feet of paved road. The view of the lake is on 50% of the course. The last loop of the 50K (#6) must be started no later than 2:30 PM. You are welcome to run as many loops as you wish. The runner with the most loops in the fastest time will be awarded first second and third place ( Male and Female). There will 2 places to pass a water stop on the course and at the transition of each loop variety of food and drinks will be available. Our Nutrition Sponsor is UCAN. Your family is welcome to enjoy the parks trails, playgrounds, and nature center. Your registration includes park entrance fee. This a rain or shine event. All fees are nonrefundable.
50K Single runner or a relay team up to 6 people. No Race Day registration. Race starts at 7:30 AM. Runner must be able to start the 6th lap by 2:30 PM. Premium: Finisher medal, Long Sleeve Tee, Race hat Awards to top 3 Male and Female runners that run the most loops in the fastest time. Two Water locations on the course and a variety of food every 5 miles .Price: $65 Through March 1, 2023 ($70after March 1,2023) To be guaranteed your Long Sleeve Tee, registration needs to be in by April 9th,2023. 5 Mile Race Day registration will be available for the 5 Mile race. Race starts at 9 AM. Need to be registered by 8:30 AM Premium: Finisher Medal, Short Sleeve Tee Shirt, Race hat Awards for top 3 Male and Female Runners. Water stops along course . $45 Through March 1, 2022 ($50 after March 1, 2023). All ERR Membership Promo codes are emailed to ERR members Packet Pick up will be at Tri Sport Junction (7568 Main St, Sykesville MD 410 549 1704) Thursday April 20th from 2-7 pm and Friday April 21st from Noon-6 pm.
