2023 Registration
The fifth annual Twin Peaks Trail Runs is on!
Twin Peaks Trail Runs
Join us for the fifth annual Twin Peaks Trail Runs in beautiful Forest Park on Saturday, October 21, 2023! Fall in Forest Park is a magical place to experience, so we relish the chance to showcase these amazing trails with four different race distances, our amazing running community, and post-race food and fun!
The Details
Woodlands Running Co. was born of and grown by the incredible Southern Oregon running community and Twin Peaks Trail Runs belongs to ALL of us that had a vision of a homegrown, inclusive, fun race on some of our favorite trails in Jacksonville. We're so grateful to share in this realization of that dream together. Due to popular demand, the 50k distance is BACK for 2023! The 50k racers will complete two loops of the 25k course. This means twice as much fun, twice as much vert, and an exclusive finishers award for all 50k finishers. T-shirts are included with this years entry fee, but cut-off for ordering a shirt will be September 21, so don't delay!
Here are all the important details for race day along with course run-throughs attached.
Packet Pickup/Registration: We will have packet pickup and final registration from 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM at the Jacksonville Inn Wine Lounge, 175 E. California St, Jacksonville OR. You can also pick up your bib on race day starting at 7:00 AM, but there will not be registration available the day of the race.
Race Day: Saturday, October 21st, 2023
Location: Forest Park, Jacksonville, OR (Directions: Take Hwy. 238 out of Jacksonville towards Ruch. Turn right on Reservoir Rd. Follow signs to the main parking lot, approximately 1.5 miles. We will have tents and the start finish line set up.)
Race Times: 50k 7:30AM, 25K 8:30 AM, 10k 9:30 AM, 5k 10:00 AM
Parking: Parking Lot 2 (P2) is the main parking area for the race. We will have volunteers stationed here on race morning assisting with parking vehicles. Please work with them to ensure we are able to fit all vehicles in an orderly fashion.
Start/Finish Area: Parking Lot 2 will also serve as the start/finish area. Look for the vendor tents and start/finish arch. We will have porta-potties available near this area.
Awards/Prizes: Top 3 men and women from each race will receive awards. We will also be giving out a bunch of other prizes thanks to Jackson County Physical Therapy, Hoka, Woodlands Running Co. gear, and more! Bring your bib to our main tent after the race and see if you've won!
Aid Stations: We are a cupless event so please pack your favorite hydration accessory. Aid station 1 (TP Saddle) will be water and Tailwind only aid station. Aid Station 2 (P7) and Aid Station 3 (P6) will be full-service aid stations with water, Tailwind, and all your favorite race day snacks. Sticking with the Twin Peaks and 80's vibe, be on the lookout for some '80s themed specialty items :)
Course Markings: We will be using 3 different color ribbons for the 3 races. Green for the 25k and 50k, Orange for the 10k, and White for the 5k. There will also be green pin flags at major intersections as well as green signs keeping you moving in the right direction.
Post Race Party: Stick around post-race food and fun! You'll also have a chance to chat with some of our vendor partners and check out some Twin Peaks and Woodlands Running Co. merch.
Volunteers: These events aren't possible without a rad crew of volunteers. We're so thankful for all the volunteer help throughout the planning process as well as race day. Make sure to give these fine folks a big thank you, high five, or sweaty hug.
