About the event
One of the Rocksylvania races in the Slate Division, Smith's Knob Scramble is an 8 mile trail race that follows the Loyalsock trail over the steep Smith's Knob. Awards will be given out for the following: overall male and female winners, first place (male & female) 14 and under, 15-19, then in 10 year age groups up to 60+. Race shirts to all pre-registered... limited quantities on race day! Due to limited parking, there is maximum number of participants set at 200 runners. Carpooling is encouraged for this race.
This year we are splitting the proceeds between the Hughesville Cross Country program and Think Big. For the XC team we are starting a scholarship for graduating senior runners (one male and one female). The rest of the proceeds will go to the Think Big pediatric cancer fund.
