Jigger Johnson Ultras presented by adidas Terrex
Prepare to tackle one of the world's most grueling trail races, an epic journey across New Hampshire's legendary White Mountains, commencing and concluding amidst the stunning beauty of Waterville Valley. Our 100-mile footrace will take you on a relentless out-and-back odyssey from Waterville Valley to the South Moat trailhead and back, spanning a daunting 108 miles and boasting a staggering 31,000 feet of elevation gain.
For our 50-mile participants, the journey takes you from South Moat across 56 miles of rugged, technical, and mountainous terrain that will push your limits. Prepare to ascend over 16,000 feet, summiting three of New Hampshire's 4,000-foot peaks, along with several other captivating summits along the way.

White Mountain Endurance Cup
**NEW!** The White Mountain Endurance Cup includes four sub ultra distance courses, handpicked to showcase some of the finest mountain running in the Northeast. Join us for the inaugural White Mountain Endurance Cup by registering for each race individually!

All Series Finishers: Complete at least 3 of the 4 events and receive a commemorative White Mountain Endurance Cup medal! You'll get your medal in person after finishing your third race.
King and Queen of the White Mountains: The highest overall male and female scorers based on the series points will be crowned King and Queen. They'll receive:
Bragging rights (of course!)
An invitation to join the Aravaipa Northeast Racing Team for 2025
Series Podium Finishers: Top runners (podium finishers) will receive prize packs from Adidas Terrex.

Mandatory Gear
Mountain weather is subject to extreme changes and a large portion of the course over the mountain is fully exposed to the elements. Be responsible. You will be DISQUALIFIED if you do not carry the mandatory gear listed below.
Gear list:
Minimum of 2 liters of water from the start and encouraged to take
more at the aid stations
Water filter (ie Katahdin BeFree)
A minimum of 1000 calories
Trail map with course marked on it (this will be provided)
Emergency blanket
GPX file uploaded into GPS, Watch or Phone
Extra battery pack to charge phone/watch, etc
Cell Phone or other communication device to call for help
Headlight plus extra batteries. Two headlamps if they are the rechargeable kind
Light Jacket
Gloves
Warm Hat
Compass or GPS (most watches and phones have a compass)
Neon safety vest with large reflective areas (for roads)
First Aid Kit (bandaids, ointment, etc.)
Possible additions to required gear (we may adjust based on weather forecast):
Puffy jacket
Hand warmers
Winter hat and gloves
Extra layers (tights and long sleeve)
Buff / head wrap
If you do not have the required gear you will not race. This is a very serious undertaking and we don’t want you lost or dead. There are ZERO exceptions for any of this.
