Race Details...
Blazing Saddles is presented by the York Road Runners Club/York Ridge Runners and is held at Codorus State Park in the rolling hills of Southern York County Pennsylvania. The race headquarters, start/finish, and aid station will be located at Pavilion #3 near the Bandshell.
Date: Saturday, March 15, 2025
25K Start Time: 9:00am
8 Miler Start Time: 9:30am
The 8 Miler and 25K provide runners with two great race options. Both races utilize the Ranger Trail at Codorus State Park. The 8 Miler consists of 1 loop and the 25K will run the course twice. The course is a combination of horse trails, single track trails, and < 1 mile of road. The course is not flat but does contain some very runnable hills. Be prepared for all weather conditions, the March weather in PA can be unpredictable, runners could experience cold, rain, snow, mud and possible freezing conditions.
There will be one well-stocked aid station at 8 miles. We will have water and electrolyte drinks. We will also have real food at the aid station.
Cutoff: The final cutoff time for both races is 6 hours (3:00pm)
Awards for the top three men and top three women. Swag for all participants that register by February 18 !
There is no rain date. We will run in the rain, snow, and sleet. In the event of a cancellation, no refunds or credits will be applied to future events. All money raised from this event, after expenses, is donated to a local animal rescue.
No bib transfers or bandits
Bib numbers should be visible at all times

Runners should stay on the established course
Runners who drop out should turn in their bib at the start/finish No pacers
