Southern Singletrack Race #4
Southern Singletrack Trail Running is thrilled to announce the 9th Annual Holiday Hootie-Hoo Trail Race 10K and Half Marathon, happening on Sunday, December 13, 2026!
Looking for a fun holiday goal or something festive to train for? We’ve got the perfect trail run (or hike!) for you and your friends to enjoy — and everyone gets a hoodie (plus other great swag).
Expect cooler temps, a super-comfy race hoodie, an awesome finisher award when you cross the line, and a warm campfire where you can soak in the camaraderie of the trail running community.
This is our biggest race of the year and a celebration of the end of our annual race series, and we’d love for you to join us. Come celebrate the holidays and run with us on one of Georgia’s longest and most scenic trails at F.D.R. State Park on Pine Mountain.
Experience the beauty of Pine Mountain, including unique rock outcroppings, hardwood and longleaf pine forests, and rock formations, springs, and creek crossings along the Half Marathon route. The 10K course travels along the Mountain Creek Nature Trail Loop and part of the Longleaf Loop. Both routes will challenge you with rocky, root-filled singletrack covered in leaves — so watch your step!
