PARTNERSHIPS
New for 2026: The Beast of Big Creek Skyrace is part of the Skyrunner World Series and is the tour's only stop in all of North America. Come and race the global skyrunning elite with us at Mount Ellinor.
We will continue to be a qualifying race in the Vert Running Series by Mountain Running Races.
And runners will continue to earn their UTMB Index.
A SKYRACE
We're offering two distances: a 22km | 14miles and a 8km | 5 miler.
For the Skyrace you'll get to climb for over 5,300ft to the actual summit of Mt. Ellinor. And on the return you'll get to bomb the whole way back down.
For the Forest loop you'll climb 1,200 ft. and get to run through a lush PNW rain forest along streams and over several fun wooden bridges.
Start and finish is at Big Creek Campground and we'll be offering limited camping for the weekend.
