Mega Mosquito 50 Miler

***NEW THIS YEAR*** This year we are introducing the MEGA MOSQUITO, a 50 mile option following the 3x5.5 mile loop options. Each runner will run 3 laps of each 5.5ish loop, returning to the central aid station each time.

99- Mile Team Relay

- Looking for a fun way to challenge yourself with friends? Relay teams, consisting of up to 6 team members, will complete 6 laps of each course. The course is run relay-style, with one runner on course at a time while the other members relax, camp and enjoy the festivities at the start/finish line. NEW THIS YEAR we will be offering a communal dinner on Saturday evening, as well as a breakfast on Sunday morning for all teams and runners. So please feel free to participate and bring a dish to pass if you want!

All relay teams are required to provide a volunteer! This can be a member of your team, or an extra person who is willing to help. Last year each team had 2x 2 hour shifts. The more teams, the more volunteers, the less each person gets to volunteer!
Relay Cutoffs: start lap 6 by 9:00am Sunday, start lap 12 by 12:00pm on Sunday, finish by 4pm on Sunday.

Mini Mosquito 50K Solo Runners

This race will challenge runners to take on 2 laps of each course for a total of 33-ish awesome miles! This race starts at 9:00am! 50k runners will have the same cutoff as the 100 milers, with the stipulation that they do not leave the course. Stopping for breaks is permitted, but leaving the park will result in a DNF. A fully stocked aid station will be provided at the end of each loop located at the start/finish line.

Mystical Mosquito 50K Solo Runners

Starting at 9pm runners will take on the challenge of 3 loops of the 100 mile course in an B-A-B fashion. On these loops runners will find a stocked aid station and experience the all the sights, sounds and joys that running through the night will bring. Runners will have till 4:00pm on Sunday to finish the race. While napping and rests are permitted, leaving the park will result in a DNF (same as the Daytime Mini Mosquito).
We opted for the 10 mile loop as a way to introduce runners to the next step in our 100 mile race!

Volunteers

This is a large event that spans more than 30 hours. As a result, volunteers are critical to keep all runners safe and on course and to help the event run as smoothly as possible.

All relay teams, regardless of size, are required to bring 1 volunteer who is available for the duration of the event. Volunteers will be on a schedule, and that schedule will be published in advance so everyone is on the same page. Number of shifts and length of shifts will vary depending on the number of teams we get. Duties include but are not limited to: road crossing marshals, directing runners on course, aid stations & more.

Thank you in advance for your understanding!

Refunds

This event is to raise funds for the Blue Foundation, thus there are no refunds. We apologize for the inconvenience but keep in mind you're helping a great cause! We do offer deferrals to races the following year, all you have to do is ask!

50- Mile Team Relay

***NEW THIS YEAR*** We are adding a shorter relay option for teams of up to 3 people. Each team will complete 3 laps of each course. The course is run relay-style, with one runner on course at a time while the other members relax, camp and enjoy the festivities at the start/finish line. 50 mile teams are still required to provide a volunteer, but we will work the schedule so that their shift will be in the projected time frame
