The Course
The course is a lollipop loop of the Crooked River Forest trails, starting and finishing at the lower parking lot of the brewery. Participants will start by heading down the snowmobile trail which connects onto the Crooked River trail system. Racers will take a left on Evergreen and head to the Crooked River Preserve parking lot (where the aid station is located). Racers will then follow Intervale Trail down to the Crooked River and follow the river via the snowshoe trail until it connects back onto Evergreen Trail. Finally, participants will turn left back onto the snowmobile trail and continue to the finish back the brewery.
Aid Station
There will be one aid station, roughly halfway along the course, at the Crooked River Preserve parking lot. The station will only have water. Please be prepared with your own form of calories and electrolytes, if needed.
Volunteers
Not interested in running but still want to be involved? Consider volunteering! We are mainly looking for individuals to direct participants at key points on the course and to help participants at the start/finish, and at the aid station. Help our participants stay hydrated, nourished, and on course! Any and all help is greatly appreciated, no experience necessary. Reach out to raceseries@lelt.org with questions and interest.
