About the Race
This trail run will feature all the best of the Dubuque County landscape including creek crossings, steep inclines, and rugged terrain. The run will offer three distance options: 5.2 miles, 25k, and 50k all set against the beautiful backdrop of Swiss Valley Nature Preserve.
Race times are as follows:
50K: 7:00am race start
25K: 8:00am race start
5.2 mile: 9:00am race start
All proceeds from the run will benefit the Friends of Dubuque County Conservation who help support Dubuque County parks and environmental education!
Free Camping and Showers available at Swiss Valley Park and Campground.
There will be free tent camping for runners at the Swiss Valley Campground located down the street from the race start and directly next to the racer pick up location. Runners will be able to use the showers in the campground for free after the race to clean up.
Transportation
There will be free shuttles to and from the start/finish line area. Parking will be just down the street next to the free showers and camping areas. Shuttles will start to take runners and spectators up to the start/finish at 6:45am
No Coast Trail Series
Swiss Valley Trail Run will be a part of the No Coast Trail Series this year. Runners will compete with other No Coast racers in this beautiful and challenging course. Being a strong hill runner will benefit you as each loop will climb around 750 feet.
Packet Pickup
Dimensional Brewing Company in downtown Dubuque at 67 Main Street, Dubuque, Iowa. Packet pickup will be from 5pm-7pm on Friday October 3rd. Runners will also receive a coupon for $1 off craft beer from Dimesional Brewing.
Race Day Packet Pickup We will have race day packet pickup available starting at 6:30am at Swiss Valley Nature Center (Start/Finish area).

Parking will be at Swiss Valley park with Shuttles starting at 6:45am. The park is also a short walk from the race start/finish line, so you can walk if you choose.
Course
The course is an approximate 5.2 mile loop with 875' of climb. The 25k is 3 loops and the 50k is 6 loops.
