Pup-A-Go 5k Doggie Walk/Run

Race Description
GhostHead Productions in partnership with Home Fur Good for our 2nd Annual Pup-A-Go 5k held at Papago Park in Phoenix, AZ! Hikers and runners are welcome to run, jog or hike with their furry ones or run solo. We ask that other runners respect the hikers and their dogs while out on the course, as this is a gathering for everyone in the community.

A portion of the registration fee will be donated to Home Fur Good a no kill animal shelter in support of our tail wagging friends!

Event will take place rain or shine and NO refunds for any cancelations.

Please make sure your furry friend/s is vaccinated and updated on their shots. And they must be leashed at all times while on course as well as throughout the entire event. Doggie poop bags will be provided at the start of the event, so please make sure to pick up after your furry friends.

The Course
5k hikers/runners will complete one counterclockwise loop around Papago Park before finishing where the race starts.
Course will be well marked at critical junctions.

Event Details
Sunday, Dec 14th, 2025 – 8:00am. Free parking for this event will be across the street from the start area at 625 N Galvin Pkwy, Phoenix, AZ, which is only a short 5-minute walk to the start. There will be porta potties set up at the start of the event.

Race Swag
All 5k paid entrants will receive a Pup-A-Go sticker, and a commemorative Pup-A-Go / Home Fur Good swag. Working on other vendors to possibly provide additional goodies for your furry friends.

Aid Station
An aid station located at the start will be stocked with cold water, hydration mix, snacks and bananas. However, be sure to bring plenty of your own hydration and fuel while on the course as there are no other aid stations on the course.
