CANEY FORK ULTRA

SEPTEMBER 12, 2026 • CAMP LATIMER • SPENCER, TN

50 MILE25K RUN25K RUCK

A DEEP RUN THROUGH TENNESSEE'S WILDEST BACKCOUNTRY

Caney Fork takes runners into the rugged Caney Fork and Scotts Gulf region of the Cumberland Plateau—an ancient landscape shaped by water, limestone and time. Towering bluffs rise above deep gorges, streams disappear underground, waterfalls burst from the rock and miles of forest remain genuinely remote.

Expect technical trail, sustained climbs and descents, shaded hollows, high overlooks, creek crossings and long stretches where you feel far from everything. This is not a groomed trail race. The miles are earned here.

Caney Fork scenery
50 MILER • 6:00 AM START
Our featured distance replaces the former 50K and delivers a demanding full-day ultra through remote technical terrain. Expect major elevation change, long stretches between civilization and a 14-hour overall cutoff.

25K RUN + RUCK • 8:00 AM START
Shorter does not mean easy. The 25K carries the same rugged character, technical footing, climbing and true backcountry feel in a more approachable distance.
