Welcome to Javelina's Crew Space Reservation and Check-In! We are continuing with a Time-Slot Reservation system to create a smoother and more efficient process for reserving crew spaces and checking in at the event venue. Please take the time to familiarize yourself with the reservation and check-in procedures below.


Reservations

Registration Period: Registration for crew space reservations opens August 30, 2024 at 7:00 AM.

Time-Slot Selection

During the registration process, runners select their preferred time slots for setting up a 10x10 crew space either Thursday, October 24, from noon to 6:00 PM or Friday, October 25, starting at 7:00 AM. Please note there are limited spots available per time slot. Once each time slot is full runners will be able to join the waitlist. For the 2024 process the waitlist will be reduced to one time slot (Thursday at 12:00 Noon) but will apply all times on a first come first serve basis. This will eliminate the need to signs up on multiple waitlists.

Participant-Linked Registration

Only individuals who are officially registered participants in the Javelina Jundred are eligible to complete the crew space reservation registration. Waitlisted runners should not apply until they confirm their entry. Registration completed by family members, friends, or acquaintances on behalf of a runner will not be accepted and removed from registration.

Max Crew Size

Limit one crew space for up to four runners. Runners may reserve two 10x10 spaces max.** We recommend one (1) tent for up to four runners or two (2) tents for groups of 5-8 runners. If you have a group of more than 8 runners please contact us before completing registration. Large clubs or groups traveling together with more than eight registered runners, please contact mike@aravaiparunning.com for further information on large group reservations.

**If groups are identified to have more than one overlapping reservation within their group the reservation will be reduced accordingly.

Reservation Ownership/Transfers

Crew space reservations are non-transferable and are directly linked to the individual runner for whom the reservation was made. Reservations may not be transferred, sold, or exchanged to another friend, or crew. If a runner is unable to attend the event and needs to cancel their crew space reservation, the reserved space will be released to the next person on the waitlist, based on their original registration order. If a runner has withdrawn from the race but has made a reservation for a larger group, reservation ownership may need to be changed. Please contact race management to update. Runners needing to cancel their crew space please communicate directly with the event organizer.

Waitlist

Waitlist: In case of cancellations or no-shows, runners are encouraged to join the waitlist if they were unable to make a reservation. Runners will be notified of available spaces on a first come first serve basis. Runners will be given 72 hrs to confirm their reservation once invited off the waitlist. Only runners who are registered participants of the race will be invited off the waitlist.

Community Crew Space

We understand that securing a crew space can be a challenge due to the high demand at Javelina Jundred. To ensure that every participant has the opportunity to enjoy the support of a crew, we will have two dedicated Community Crew Spaces at Jeadquarters. These spaces have been reserved to provide assistance to runners who were not able to secure a crew space during the reservation process.
