Race check in will be held in Quidi Vidi with buses providing drop off at the starting line!
And as always, proceeds from the race will be donated to the East Coast Trail Association.
Note: Registration & Bib Numbers cannot be transferred - Out of respect to waitlist and committed participants.
Refunds (less service fees) or Rollover Registration will be offered in the case event is cancelled.
Cut Off Times
10:35am - Flatrock Aid Station - 16.5km Marker (approx)
1:20pm - Middle Cove Aid Station - 31km Marker (approx)
3:25pm - Logy Bay Marine Lab - 43km Marker (approx)
5:56 pm - Sunset - Quidi Vidi (Finish Line)
Race Day Notes
1. As always, a whistle and your cellphone are required to be carried during the race, and will need to be presented at the race check in.
2. At the race check in at Quidi Vidi, you can hand of a drop bag of items that you will be able to collect at the Middle Cove Beach Aid Station.
3. At any Aid Station, you will also be able to discard items you no longer wish to carry and would like recover at the finish of the race.
4. We will also have a starting line drop off (for the finish), so you can shed any layers or items you do not want to run with, which will be collected in Pouch Cove, and recovered at the finish area.
5. Your drop bags will need to be clearly labeled with your names.
6. There are 3 Aid Stations (Flatrock, Middle Cove Beach, and the Marine Lab) that will have Water and Electrolytes, if there any additional food items – they will be contributed by volunteers working the aid stations… So you should be prepared to carry the necessary fuel, and water, as well as water containers as this is a cupless race.
7. You are more than welcome (and encouraged) to have a support crew. They will meet you at each Aid Station to provide you with anything you need. Support outside of the Aid Stations is not permitted.
8. Pick Up Trail Trash: Once again, Third Place Cocktail Company will provide a free bottle of Tonic at the finish line to everyone who contributes the collection any ‘trail trash’ during the race. This can be something you pick up, or simply, your own garbage that you did not throw on the ground.
