2026 (December 2025 Makeup Run) Pigtails Run - 20 Years Running!
UPDATE- With the December 2025 race being postponed due to floods we are celebrating a little late but still celebrating. New Date May 9, 2026 We are excited to see our registered runners on race day.
This is the 20th year this race has been running! Come join the celebration! We love seeing you achieve success and having fun along the way. It's a beautiful course along the river and through the woods, to get your piggy medal!

As stated on the website, this isn't the best course for your first 50K, there is little support and the weather can get nasty. Usually the people who do try for their first 50k will drop to a lesser distance or they will come in 2 hours past the cut off. The cut off is strictly 2:30pm. This is for your safety and our sanity.
This is a low cost/low support race. Don't expect the moon but expect a great time with great volunteers and other great runners.
