About the Adventure Fest
Adventure Fest is a weekend-long celebration of outdoor adventure for individuals and families of all experience levels. In a sport where much of the time is spent solo, this is an opportunity to come together, share experiences, and connect with the adventure community.
Pitch your tent, fire up the stoke, and spend a weekend racing, riding, running, and celebrating under wide-open desert skies. With races for every age and ability, free kids' events, camp trivia, bonfire awards, and a glowstick dance party, Adventure Fest is as much about the community as it is about the finish line.
Welcome to Fruita, Colorado
Tucked into Colorado's Grand Valley along the Colorado River, Fruita is a small town with a big reputation. It's one of the most celebrated mountain biking destinations in the country, known for sunny spring days, flowing singletrack, and a laid-back, adventure-loving vibe.
To the south, the red-rock canyons of Colorado National Monument rise above the valley. To the north, the dramatic Book Cliffs stretch across the horizon. In between you'll find local breweries, restaurants, and a downtown that welcomes dusty riders and runners with open arms. Come for the race, and stay to explore.
Your Basecamp: North Fruita Desert (18 Road)
Adventure Fest makes its home at the North Fruita Desert Trailhead, known to locals simply as "18 Road." Set at the foot of the Book Cliffs, this legendary trail system is famous for fast, rolling, roller-coaster singletrack that winds along desert ridges and through dry washes, with big views in every direction.
Trails like Kessel Run, Zippity Do Da, and Joe's Ridge have made 18 Road a bucket-list destination for riders from around the world, while its open terrain and sweeping vistas make it just as spectacular on foot. Best of all, the start/finish is right at camp, so you can roll out of your tent and onto the start line.

• Zippity Half Two-Day Challenge – (MTB (Short)/Half Marathon) Saturday and Sunday
• 105K Two-Day Challenge – (55K Run/50K MTB) Saturday and Sunday
Merchandise
Merchandise will be available for purchase at racer check-in. You must order riding apparel before March 20, it will be ready for pickup on race day. We will have some merchandise available at packet pickup also.
