Negligence here is detrimental to our permit, the cattle and the ranch. Take an extra 10 seconds to secure gates properly. Thank you!****

Course
The courses for all three distances are in a word, beautiful. Wildlife may abound, as you run through forest and meadows, on gravel, two-tracks and pine needle covered single track with stunning views of the Teton Mountains as well as the local valley.
The course is 25K in length. 50K runners are blessed to run 2 loops. Our new 10K distance, follows the Silver Lake Trail after accessing the aid station via two-tracks. The1k Kid's Run follows the gravel path loop through historic Railroad Ranch.
The START/FINISH line for all distances is the East lawn of The Boy's House.
Course reroutes for 2026 make the on-course aid station easier to access for volunteers and runners alike. A course direction change should help runners manage the open meadow sections and lessen the sun/ heat impact. Updates and course maps to come!

The food selection is standard aid fare, including cookies, chips, soda, candy, pickles, water, sports drink, etc. Aid station personnel will be at your beck and call. Race Festivities
We have reserved the “Boy’s House” for your post-race dining and relaxation. This building overlooks the river, and the east lawn serves as the Start/Finish area.
Once you have completed your journey, join your fellow travelers overlooking the Henry’s Fork River for a meal and beverages. Cheer on runners as they finish, bring a fly rod and fish the river, or hang out.
The Boy's house is a drop bag location. Bringing a chair in the morning is recommended!
To minimize trash and waste, bring your own table service i.e.cups, plates, bowls and utensils for lunch! Pack it in & pack it out.
Rules/Advice
As well-mannered trail runners, it is expected that you will follow the standard protocols regarding trail racing. This will include not disposing of your trash on the ground, not cheating or cutting the course, being very polite to the aid station personnel, other runners, other visitors, and park personnel. You may encounter mountain bikers and horseback riders. Horses have the right of way. If you veer off course, you will need to return to where you left the course and then resume your race. If you just elect to come back to the start, you will be credited with a DNF.
NO DOGS allowed in Harriman State Park, except in the parking areas. Please leave your 4-legged friends at home. They are NOT allowed to run with you.
ADVICE: Mid-August temps the last few years have reached the high-80's. Underestimating the sun & heat leads to dehydration and cramping. Many participants struggle on lap 2 of the 50k from not consuming enough water and electrolytes. The Henry's Fork is accessible for a quick dunk by the bridge.
We do not have an official cut-off time, however completing your chosen distance by 4pm is appreciated!
Course Marking
Course markings will consist of directional arrows, ribbons, signage as necessary and flour arrows on the ground, weather permitting.
Refunds and Rollovers
Here is the policy
We will refund your entry fee PROVIDED the race is full and there is someone on the wait list to take your spot.
This refund is available up to approximately 30 days prior to the race.
If the race is not full, then there is no refund. Within 30 days there is no refund available.
How do you get a refund? Just send us a note through the website contact page.
Rollovers
There are no rollovers.
The entry fee you pay is for this year’s race and covers this year’s supplies, fees, insurance, etc.
The best thing to do is to get a refund if the race fills.
Transfers
We DO NOT allow race entries to be sold or transferred to anyone. This is a liability issue.
If you are out running the race and get hurt and can’t communicate with us, we have no idea who you are, who to contact, etc.
Plus it has the potential to really screw up results.
The best thing to do is to get your refund if the race is full and have your friend just sign up for the race.
