- Ruck definition: Walking or hiking with a weighted rucksack (backpack)
- Weight standards: 20 lbs dry weight for participants at or over 150 lbs body weight; 10 lbs dry weight for participants under 150 lbs
- Allowed weight: Steel plates, bricks, sandbags, or similar items; consumable food and water cannot be counted towards weight
