Race Day - Saturday, May 23rd - Saturday!
The race will take place on Memorial Day Weekend, Saturday, May 23rd, NOT on Memorial day.
The race starts at 8:00 AM at the iron gate at the north entrance to the Belcher Tract, just off Hwy 280 at Oak Mountain State Park.
There is a $5 per person fee to park at this entrance of Oak Mtn State Park.
Shirt Cutoff is May 9th
Friday, May 9th is the last day to register for the Memorial Day Weekend Trail Race and be guaranteed of getting a race shirt. We order extras. If you register after this date, check with registration AFTER YOUR RACE to see if there are any shirts left.
Active Military Runs Memorial Day Free
If you are currently Active Military you may run the Memorial Day Trail Race free of charge. Please use you military ID at packet pickup. You may also register at the race. Please type the code exactly as written here.

Weekend Schedule
Friday, May 22nd - 5pm to 6pm - PACKET PICKUP and LATE REGISTRATION - Mountain High Outfitters 2000 Oak Mountain State Park Road
Saturday, May 23rd - 6:45 to 7:45 AM - Packet pickup and Late Registration at Oak Mountain State Park. Follow the "Race Arrow Signs."
Saturday, May 23rd - 8:00 AM - Start of the 6 and 12 Mile Races.
Place awards will be given out as runners finish the race. Awards will be given to 1, 2 & 3 overall, male and female. Age awards are Masters 40 - 49, Grand Master 50 - 59, Ultra Grand Master 60+.
We will also have 16 and under, Male and Female awards.
