Volcano vs You! Who will win?
The Spitfire Ultra Trail Challenge (formerly known as the Menan Butte Trail Challenge) was created as an invitation to challenge yourself in a unique geological setting that has everything from sand, volcanic rock, slick rock, sage brush and possible wildlife. The run takes place at the North Menan Butte, an extinct volcano that was formed by violent eruptions 10,000 years ago. You will be blown away by the variety of sights and surfaces to be found as you traverse its west and east sides, run its rim and down through its heart.
We invite you to “Run Your Ash Off” and battle the volcano for bragging rights, as you test your mettle and forge your character on April 17, 2021!
Race Packet Pickup & Check In
Packet pick up will be held on race day this year. Check in on race day is required and will begin one hour prior to the start of each race distance.
The Spitfire hoodie sweatshirts we offered last year were such a hit that we've decided to offer them again this year! Be sure to reserve yours when you check out!
Spitfire t-shirts will be an optional purchase this year. They will be a cotton/poly blend and available in unisex sizing.
In order to guarantee your t-shirt and sweatshirt sizes, you'll need to be registered for the Spitfire by April 1, 2021 so we have time to get them ordered and to you on race day or at packet pickup!
With your registration, we will be including a cool race swag item!
Post race meal
Each registered participant will be invited to refuel with a post race meal. Additional meal tickets may be purchased for family and friends for just $5.00 each
