A run through the woods is an adventuresome trail run in it's purest form! Much of the trail is winding single track. You will have to keep your eyes and feet in sync to avoid tripping over roots. The woods you're running through are made up of tall live oaks and pines! The Whitemarsh Preserve, where you will be running offer the very best real and raw trails in the Savannah area!
This race is part of Run 4 a Reason's Rough Runners Trail Running series worth 17 maximum points.
Location: Whitemarsh Preserve, Savannah, Ga 31410. coordinates: 32.02977338542001, -81.0003184920044
The course is approximately 3 miles long. It follows the excellent winding mtb trails at the Whitemarsh preserve. The course is marked with surveyor flags. Keep an eye out for these flags. If you follow the flags you will not get lost nor inadvertently run the wrong course.
Course difficulty: the trail is flat but rated moderately difficult due to the many winding parts of it.
