Course Description

Come run Nashville Running Company's Lock 4 Six Miler. Part of Nashville Running Company's Trail Race Series, this race takes place on the single track mountain bike trails of Lock 4 city park in Gallatin, TN, just northeast of Nashville. With a start line right on the Cumberland River, this course is as scenic as it is fun.

With a few ups and downs and some technical terrain, these beautiful trails are moderately difficult but still perfect for any trail race beginners!

The Lock 4 Six Miler is the fourth and final race in the NRC Trail Race 6 Mile Series. Lock 4 will serve as the Championship Race, and prizes will be awarded to Series winners at this race. Although relatively flat, these windy and semitechnical trails are a unique and great addition to the race series! Racers are also rewarded with beautiful views of the river as they make their wind their way back to the start/finish at the edge of the river inlet.

Register by November 26 to be guaranteed a race shirt!

Race Series Rules

You will be awarded 10 points for each race you are registered for and 5 points for each race you COMPLETE. In addition, points are awarded based on finish placement in your age group for EACH race. These points are accrued over the entire race series, and prizes will be awarded based on these points at the Championship Race. Don't worry-- there will be awards for RunWILD Bells Bend race individually as well!

Important Race Information

There will be water and aid stations on the course, but they will not have cups. You MUST carry your own handheld if you plan to drink from the stations. We are doing this in an effort to cut down on course trash and keep the park clean. Plan to bring and keep all food trash on your person at all times. If you are seen throwing trash on the ground you will be disqualified from any award opportunity. There will be trash receptacles at each aid stations.
