Description
A challenging (but fun) beginning trail run for the novice and expert, alike.
The 5K is a good beginner trail run.
This year (due to the recent rain, etc) the race will be on bridle trails and grass. The 10K will be two loops of the 5K.
A great family-friendly run, but also fun for serious competitors.
New for this year:
1st, 2nd, 3rd Pl awards for 5K & 10K,
and VERY SPECIAL 1st - 3rd Place awards for 5K & 10K "Cougars" (Females 40 & over).

Entry Fees
5K: $30 - includes logo mug & oval finisher's sticker! $35 on race day.
10K: $40 - includes logo mug & oval finisher's sticker! $40 on race day.
Yes, there is race day registration at the event. Cash, Check, Debit or Credit.
Races are chip-timed and you get free access to download photos (by Mile 90 Photography).
Canine Entry to either race: $10. Includes chip-timing. Enter canines on race day, only.
Packet Pickup is Day of Race, only. Yes, there is also race day signup.

How was this race named?
Nine years ago, after several cougar sightings, we had an impromptu contest to name the Wyco Cougar. Bad Ben's son, Matt quickly came up with the winning name, based on the movie, The Graduate. (He can also do a great Dustin Hoffman impression, by the way).
