The Tahoe Rim Trail Endurance Runs has a reputation for being one of best run ultras in the West with an all-volunteer staff giving back to the community since 2001! Description

The 24th Tahoe Rim Trail Endurance Runs start and finish in Carson City, Nevada. All three races are on single-track trails and dirt roads with spectacular views of Lake Tahoe and the deep valleys of the Great Basin. Many miles are run on the Tahoe Rim Trail located within the Spooner backcountry of the Lake Tahoe Nevada State Park and on the Toiyabe National Forest land.
There is nothing simple about the 100 mile course. 100 miles with approximately 20,000 feet of elevation gain. Please REFER TO THE EVENT WEBSITE for a course description, elevation profile, and finishing times to understand the course difficulty. We will have Live GPS tracking for the 100 mile, 100K and 50K.
Running a 100 mile, 100K, and 50K race is a true challenge physically, mentally and emotionally. Please note: the final 17 miles are VERY DEMANDING that requires a minimum of 2 liters of fluids, Be Prepared!
Don't expect to run a PR here. DO expect to find the finest aid stations in ultra running, epic scenery, and world famous volunteers!

Qualifying

All individuals registering for the 100-Mile event MUST meet the Qualification Standards AT THE TIME OF REGISTRATION for the 2025 event. (From July 1, 2023 to time of Registration.) NO EXCEPTIONS! Any non-qualified runners registered for the 100 mile race will be removed from the event.
Proof that Qualification Standards have been met must be verifiable by official race results on Ultra Signup or results listed in Ultrarunning Magazine:
1. 50 miles in less than 15 hours or the TRTER 56-Miler in less than 18 hours,or
2. 100 kilometers in less than 22 hours, or
3. Completion of any OFFICIAL 100-mile trail race.
The qualifying period is JULY 1, 2023 TO TIME OF REGISTRATION.

There are NO qualifying requirements for the 100K and the 50K.
PLEASE REFER TO THE EVENT WEBSITE FOR COMPLETE QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS.

Pricing

Pricing for the 100 Mile includes live GPS tracking.
100 Mile $325 plus fees
100K $210 plus fees
50K $155 plus fees

A NOTE OF CAUTION: If you are accepting an invitation off the waitlist and it is after the refund March 31, 2024 deadline, there is no refund.

Western States Qualifer

The TRTER 100 mile and 100K are both a certified Western States Qualifying race.

The 100 Mile requires a official finish in the 36 hour cutoff. **The 100K requires a finish within 20 hours, even though the 100K has a 24 hour time cutoff for a official finish.

Trail Work

All the 100 Mile entrants MUST complete 8 Hours of Volunteer Trail Work. This means actual trail WORK!!! Only trail building or trail maintenance qualifies. Trail work requirement must be completed between July 1, 2024 and July 1, 2025.
