Welcome to Dick Collins Firetrails!
Be sure to check our website with the Blog and Updates sections at the top of the page, for updates and news.
Run for the last two years as Bay Ridge Endurance Runs, we are proud to announce that we're returning to our classic name: Dick Collins Firetrails! Firetrails is home to 3 events: Bay Ridge 100k, Firetrails 50mile, and the Golden Hills Marathon. As in 2018, we have a new home at Cull Canyon Regional Park.
UTMB POINTS As in 2017 and 2018, we offer UTMB points for the Bay Ridge 100k (4 points) and Firetrails 50 (3 points.) We will apply for points for the Golden Hills Marathon after the running this year and will be available for the 2019 finishers. There will likely be 2 points.
P-USATF GRAND PRIX The Firetrails 50 mile race is part of the P-USATF Grand Prix again starting this year.
TRAINING RUNS Again this year, we will have informal training runs to preview the course. These are available to everyone, even if they're not registered. Sign up here.

Just minutes from Lake Chabot, this new location adds a new single track section at the beginning and end of the races. The new parts of the course are challenging but offer stunning views from parts of the Bay Area Ridge Trail that most people rarely run.
100k and 50 mile races are out-and-back courses, as is the tradition with Firetrails, mostly along the legendary East Bay Skyline National Trail. You will enjoy fireroads and single-track with gorgeous views of San Francisco and Mt. Diablo.
The Firetrails 50 mile's turn around is at Skyline Gate. The course has an altitude profile of slightly less than 8,500ft, which makes this race challenging but very runnable.
The Bay Ridge 100k proceeds to a turnaround at the Steam Trains. The altitude profile for the 100k is 11,400 ft.
Please check our website for maps and other course data under the Course tab. You will find information about drop bags and pacers under the Aid Station information.
The Golden Hills Marathon and run as a point-to-point race, which starts at the Chabot Space and Science Center. Runners will travel by bus from the start area at Cull Canyon. More details on your bus ride when you register.
