About Run4Water
Run4Water is a nonprofit organization that strives to raise awareness and provide solutions for the worldwide water crisis through running and running events.
Ultra Festival
Run4Water Ultra Festival is more than just a race — it’s a full-day experience built around endurance, community, and purpose. From ultra-distance events and 5Ks to a special documentary premiere, family-friendly activities, and opportunities to support meaningful causes, this festival is designed to bring people together both on and off the course.
Hosted in Lebanon, Tennessee, the festival features a variety of race distances — including timed events (3, 6, and 12 hours) and multiple 5K options — all centered around a half-mile looped course that keeps runners connected throughout the day. In addition to racing, participants and spectators can enjoy vendor booths, family-friendly activities, and opportunities to engage with the impactful work supported by the festival.
The day will conclude with the premiere of Woven for Water, a short documentary highlighting the mission and impact of Run4Water. We will also be joined by special guest speakers, whose names will be announced closer to the event — but trust us, you won’t want to miss it.
Whether you’re chasing miles, running for fun, or showing up to support others, Run4Water Ultra Festival is built to be an unforgettable day of endurance, connection, and purpose. Set a goal, show up, and make it happen — we’ll be there to support you every step of the way.
USATF Certified and Sanctioned Course Details
The inner lane of the course is USATF certified (TN17001BW) 818,3369 meters; or 0.50849 miles.
The course is smooth, with no sharp turns, no u-turns, and very little elevation change. It takes place on a blacktop/paved road. It is optimal for big miles and fast times! We believe this is one of the best loop courses in the country for records and PRs. The course was previously used for elite athletes to qualify for the USA 24 hour, or 100k national team.
Aid Station/Bathrooms
Our main sponsored aid station will be located right at the start/finish line, and with runners passing through every half mile, there will be plenty of opportunities to take advantage of everything it has to offer.
At the main aid station, you’ll find all the essentials — water, electrolytes, and classic ultra aid station snacks — along with delicious hot food throughout the event that you won’t want to miss.
Prefer to self-aid? Runners will also have access to a designated 10x10 tent space along the back side of the course to set up personal supplies and crew support. Since you’ll pass your tent or vehicle on every loop, you can easily grab your own nutrition, gear, hydration, or extra layers without ever needing to step off course.
Please note: there are no bathrooms directly on the course itself. However, indoor restrooms located inside the school — just 25 meters off course — will be open and accessible to runners throughout the entire event.
Awards
Awards information will be updated as it becomes available. Expect overall winners in each race to qualify for awards.
84 Days Dedication
84 Days is a faith-based non-profit organization dedicated to empowering young women around the globe through the love of Christ. Through feminine hygiene education, sustainable solutions for period poverty, and access to essential resources, 84 Days helps young women remain in school and continue pursuing their future with dignity and confidence.
As part of the Run4Water Ultra Festival, we will host a special 84 Minute Race during the final 84 minutes of race day, beginning at 4:36 PM and concluding at 6:00 PM. This portion of the event will shine a light on the mission and impact of 84 Days while serving as a time to honor, celebrate, and support women around the world.
Want to support the mission? Select the 84 Days Dedication add-on during registration to become an official 84 Days Run Supporter. Supporters will receive a special 84 Days race tee and a recognition band to wear on the course. An additional $34 from each add-on purchase will go directly to supporting the work of 84 Days.
