Shuttle pass

A shuttle will transport runners from the finish line at Spooner State Park to the new starting line located at Tunnel Creek Cafe in Incline Village, NV. The cost of the morning shuttle bus is $15. This will be the only shuttle that the event provides. Last day to purchase a shuttle pass is September 20th. Room on the morning shuttle buses will not be guaranteed after that date. Passes sold after that date will depend on availability and on a first come first serve basis. Flume Trail Bikes has offered their shuttle van services to return runners from the finish at Spooner State Park back to Tunnel Creek Cafe for $15. They have scheduled shuttle van drop offs at Spooner State Park for mountain bikers and they will be able to return back to their shop for a $15, same price as the morning buses. Their shuttles back to the starting area parking will be 1:00, 12:00, 1:00 and 2:00 if needed. The morning shuttle buses for Flume Half Marathon runners is scheduled to arrive at 7:00am on Saturday Oct. 5th. The busses will leave Spooner State Park at 7:15 and arrive at the starting line at approximately 7:45am.

Packet Pick Up

Runner check in and bib assignment is available on race day only. Race day check in will be at the start of the race behind Tunnel Creek Cafe from 7-8:15AM. There will be no Race Day registration available this year at the start. Please give yourself and event staff plenty of time to get everyone their packets and bibs.

Parking

Race parking is located at Spooner State Park. Entry fee into the park will be free if you purchased a morning shuttle bus pass.. The new parking areas along Hwy. 28 in Incline Village adjacent to Tunnel Creek Cafe are now open and they are currently not charging a parking fee. The course

For 2019, the course route will remain the same but it will be run in reverse direction. This means there be be significant more climbing but with the same great views. The start will be located behind Tunnel Creek Cafe adjacent to Flume Trail Bikes in Incline Village, NV. Runners will proceed 3 miles, 1500' elevation gain, up Tunnel Creek Road to the Flume Trail and the first of two aid stations. You will then continue along the 4.5 mile flat section of the world famous Flume Trail to Marlette Dam and the second aid station. Once at the dam, you will continue to follow a dirt road along the west side of Marlette Lake for 1 mile before turning right onto Marlette Lake trail(single track). After a short half mile climb up to the saddle, you will enjoy 4.5 miles of gentle downhill running the the finish at Spooner Lake located within the State Park.

The course will be run in reverse this year due to unavoidable logistical issues with ongoing construction in and around the Cafe. The course will return back to its original direction in 2020 with some possible changes.
