Southern Singletrack Race #6
Southern Singletrack Trail Running is thrilled to announce that the 7th Annual Holiday Hootie-Hoo Trail Race 10K and Half Marathon will be on Sunday, December 15, 2024
Are you looking for a fun holiday goal/event to train for?
Well, we have the perfect trail run/hike for you and your friends to experience and everyone gets a hoodie (and other swag) too!
There will be cooler temps, a super comfy race hoodie to go, an awesome custom-made medal after you cross the Finish Line and a warm campfire to hang out by and enjoy the camaraderie of the trail running community!
This is our biggest race each year to celebrate the end of our annual race series, and we would love for you to join us!
Come out to celebrate the holidays and run with us on one of Georgia’s longest and most scenic trails at F.D.R. State Park on Pine Mountain. Here you can experience the beauty of Pine Mountain firsthand, including unusual rock outcroppings and stands of hardwoods and longleaf pine. It also has a number of rock formations and springs and creeks to cross along the Half Marathon route. The 10K race will take you along the Mountain Creek Nature Trail Loop and part of the Long Leaf Loop out and back. Both routes will test your ability to run along tons of rocky, rooty single-track trails under tons of leaf cover – so watch your step!!
