CORONAVIRUS UPDATE 3/12/2020
Sadly, we are announcing that Red Dragon is officially canceled for 2020. Canceling is a very hard decision for us as we really want to put on a great/fun weekend for our runners. However, after discussions with the BLM and other peers, it has become obvious that we must err on the side of caution and put public safety first. Anyone who was already signed up for the race will have their entries forwarded to any future SS Mountain Race (Meat Grinder, Snowberry Creek, Dead Truck, or Red Dragon). Thank you for your continued support and we hope you all are safe and healthy!

Information and Parking
All distances start and finish at the Magnolia Ranch Trail Head.
Start Times for all distances is 7:00am.
Race day bib pick-up is 6:00am-6:50am at the start area.
Parking is free at the start/finish area! But due to the somewhat small size of the parking lot, please try to carpool with other friends that may be running the race, if possible. Thank you!

Attn: The course has been REVERSED this year in attempt to alleviate the parking issues we had last year.
All distances start and finish at the Magnolia Ranch Trail Head parking lot.
The Half Marathon course is an out & back. From race start, follow the ribbons out to the Cronan Ranch Aid Station. There you will turn around & return exactly the way you came to the finish area.
The 35K course is an out & back. From race start you will first go through the Cronan Ranch Aid Station. Then continue on to the Movie Set Aid Station. That is where the 35k runners turn around and go back to the Cronan Ranch Aid Station and then to the finish line.
The 55K course course is an out & back course that take you the entire distance of our race course. From race start, 55k runners will venture through the Cronan Ranch Aid Station, then onto the Movie Set Aid Station, and finally onto the Skunk Hollow Aid Station. This is where 55k runners will turn around & return exactly the way you came.

55K: Cronan Ranch mile 6.6, Movie Set mile 10.6, Skunk Hollow mile 17.5 (turnaround point), Movie Set mile 24.5, Cronan Ranch mile 28.5.
Cut-off times
10 hours for all distances.

All finishers receive a race shirt.
Overall winners for each distance (male & female) will receive special prizes.
