Bogus 50/50

Boise, ID 50 Miler, 50K, 15 Miler

This Event Took Place Sat. Oct 5, 2019

With the current ever changing COVID restrictions I have suspended payment when you register for this race. This means you will be put on a wait list until such a time I know for sure I can have the race. This assures you will be in the race if it's allowed to go forward, but also assures you will not be charged for a race that does not happen. You will receive an email prior to your card being charged to make sure you still want to do the race.
I'm looking forward to holding the race and seeing all your smiling faces. I will absolutely do so if the COVID conditions allow me to safely to do so.

Bogus 50/50 50 Mile, 50K and 15 Mile

We have some amazing trails in the Boise area and the 50 Mile hits all of the favorites! If you're ready for a challenging and fun 50 Mile trail run come join us! This event also includes a 50K and a 15 Mile! All three courses start and finish at Fort Boise parking lot in the lower Foothills and showcase our great trails!

50 Mile
The 50 Mile course winds it's way from the lower foothills up to Bogus Basin and back using some of the most beautiful trails in the state. The 50 Mile has an elevation gain of approximately 10,919 feet. The 50 Mile has 2 cutoffs, they are both hard cutoffs. The first is approx mile 29.5-Simplot Lodge Aid Station at 1PM and the 2nd is approx mile 47-8th Street/Motorcyle Parking Aid Station at 5PM.

The 50K course gives area ultrarunners a close-to-home venue for a trail ultra and showcases the tremendous natural resources of the Boise foothills for visitors. The 50K has a cutoff at mile 22 aid station at 2pm and an elevation gain of approximately 6611 feet.

The 15 Mile uses the first and last part of the 50K course.  This will be great for spectator viewing and cheering! The 15 mile has an elevation gain of approximately 2688 feet..

All courses include multiple uphill and downhill sections. The terrain is of moderate difficulty, providing a challenge to runners, but not too hard for first-timers.

This is a green race so you will need to bring a collapsible race for the aid stations.

Be sure to get signed up by September 21st to be guaranteed race schwag!
Packet Pickup is at The Pulse Running and Fitness Shop on Friday Oct 2 11-6.
