About the National Trails Day Run
Big Bear National Trails Day is a day to celebrate our local treasure – our trails! Kodiak Ultra Marathons is partnering with the Big Bear Valley Trails Foundation to bring you a fun-filled day of running, hiking, and an introduction to trail maintenance.
Although the trail maintenance is not required, we will have groups working on the trails from 9am-12pm, so if you finish your run before noon we hope you'll join in the fun!
The trail run is a fundraiser event supporting the Mountains Foundation and will consist of:
• 5K – Hike or Run (8am)
• Half Marathon Run (7am)
• Marathon Run (6:30am)
• 50K Run (6am)
If you joined us for our Trails Day event last year, you know you won’t want to miss out on the fun this year! We will again have a finish line festival with food, beer, and music. We will also be raffling off gear and race entries donated by our generous sponsors.
What’s included with your registration:
-Finish line food
-Finish line beer (21+)
-Aid Station support
-Timed and marked course
-A fun filled day with your family and friends!

Trail Work will take place on the very trail you will run on (Pine Knot trail)!
