Join us for our 25 year anniversary race!
This classic ultra marathon was started in 1995 by Kevin and Kris Setnes. They RD'd for 6 years, then Tim "Timo" Yanacheck and Jason Dorgan Co-RD'd until 2018. These four ultra running pioneers built traditions in Kettle Moraine 100 that will carry on for many years to come. Their work is why so many of us are trail and ultra-marathoners. Thank you Kevin, Kris, Timo and Jason for all you have done. You are greatly admired, respected and appreciated by the trail and ultra community.
This race is 100% trail with the exception of a few road crossings. 65 miles of the course is run on Wisconsin treasured Ice Age Trail!
IMPORTANT PARKING PASSES
IMPORTANT: Wisconsin State Park System requires a parking pass. Every runner/crew vehicle will be required to have one displayed in their window. These are available for sale when you register for the race at a reduced rate of $6.00. We will have them for sale on race day for $11.00. If you have a pass already, you do not need to purchase one. Tickets will be given to people that don’t have the pass displayed in their windows. We will have the pre-purchased ones at packet pick up.
The race has historically been on National Park day which made Saturday and Sunday parking free. Friday was still a pay day. This year the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources asked us to have the race a weekend later to give everyone a better trail experience.
