REGISTRATION OPENS NOVEMBER 1!
Join Us In Mendocino!
This year, we're moving to new home! Come join us off the Mendocino Coast in Mendocino Woodlands Park. As in the past, we're run a looped course through stunning wilderness and across murmuring streams. In our 2019 location the look is 6,2 miles long, meaning that we've also added a 10k and half-marathon race, we well. Our Camp is just outside Mendocino, who families who aren't running have access to that lovely community and the coast. After your run, enjoy more incredible food and drink while meeting fun folks. We have many other surprise treats in store for this festive event. Learn more at AncientRedwoodRunFest.com
Courses - Go Short or Go Long! - 6hr Relay JUST ADDED
The race course consists of a 6.2-mile loop from the Big River valley, to the top valley's edge. The loop is mostly signle track trail and has 1,150 feet of climb. You can choose from the two timed formats (6- and 12-hour) or the two distances, 10k and half-marathon. No matter the distance you'll be in for a treat, culminating in a one of a kind post run BBQ, beer, wine, campfire, and music from one of Scena Performance's house bands. Learn more about the course at AncientRedwoodRunFest.com
Mendocino Running Festival occupies an entire camp inside of Mendocino Woodlands Park. There are 20 tent cabins with cots in each. Enough for 4 people or more. No tent required. These are currently available for the entire weekend. As we get closer to the event, if there's room, we'll release tent cabins for single day reservations.
There is also tent camping. We will also make available up to 20 spots for people to camp in tents.
By popular demand, we also accommodate campers and sprinter vans. All of these are available as options when you check out, or you can book them directly here.
Words cannot describe how fun this will be. Camp assignments will be published on May 1.
If We Come, Will You Feed Us?
Mendocino Running Festival is setup in a family camp format, with a very large kitchen and eating area we refer to as The Commons. In 2019, we are including the cost of food with our camping tickets, as well as the meal you get with your registration. We serve coffee in the mornings and on race day, serve lunch and dinner. You are welcome to bring your own food, as well, and prepare it in the Commons.
If you are coming for the day only and bringing family, you can purchase meal tickets so everyone can eat. Please, stay for the evening!
