Description

Location Start/ Finish: approximate location is 100 Fallon Rd Stoneham, MA. Coming Southbound on Rt 93, get off Exit 35, the start is in the parking lot across from the end of the ramp. There is NO NORTHBOUND EXIT OFF I-93.

START TIME - The race will start at 7:00 am sharp.  There will be a brief mandatory trail briefing at 6:45 am. 2:00PM CUTOFF TIME to start last loop of 32 miler. 2:30pm CUTOFF TIME to start last loop of the 40 miler.

A nightmarish course of rocks and roots with a bit of elevation thrown in.  The race uses the Skyline Trail for a lovely 8 mile loop.  There is full aid station at the start/finish and one at the half way point with Tailwind, water, soup & snacks.  This race starts at sunrise and ends at sundown (about 4:30).  Please bring something delicious for the aid station.  Oh, and it is in December in New England.  It will be cold.  You will probably not want to get out of bed to come to it, so only sign up if you really, really want to run. Please note there are no race day drop downs from the 40 mile to 32 mile distance, failure to complete the distance for which you are registered will be recorded as a 'DNF'.

The course consists of 4/5 loops of the 8 mile white blazed 'Skyline Trail' at the Middlesex Fells.


The course follows the existing white blazes of the trail, minimal additional course marking is provided. The trail is blazed, follow the trail.

A: I don't know, we usually make it through most of the waitlist especially when the race gets closer.

Q: How do I edit or Cancel my Registration?
A: Log into Ultrasingup > Click on Account Info > Click on Registration History > Click Edit next to the race. From there you can change distance or cancel the registration.

Q: Can I refund or defer my entry.
A: No, we are unable to provide refunds or deferrals.
