Note: Runners that registered after Monday, November 2nd will receive their packet: bib, timing chip, sanitizer, headwrap, and shirt ON RACE DAY at the packet pick-up area. Online registration ends at 6:00 pm CT on Friday, November 6. Please register online as there will be no race day registration.

Wave starts of 10 runners will begin every 10 minutes. Please check your wave assignment using the links below and allow enough time for a temperature check prior to your scheduled wave.

This year's race will again benefit the Dallas Off Road Bike Association (DORBA) and the Frisco ISD Education Foundation. DORBA has put thousands of hours into building/maintaining the NWCP trail and FISD has been a great partner to work with in helping continue to make this event a reality!

Race Shirts, Medals and Awards

*11/06/2020 Update: We are at full capacity for the 10K and ordered a specific number of medals for each race. We'd like to offer runners the option to still race the 10K while receiving a finisher woodallion/medal, but it will need to be a 5K. We have added this as a question as part of the registration process.

Update on Frisco Trail Race 2020. The event will be postponed to November 7th to give the trail a chance to dry so we do not cause damage. We have talked with the trail interests (DORBA, Frisco, etc.) and are working hard behind the scenes to transition everything as smoothly as possible to the next date. We enjoy hosting events as much as you enjoy participating and we sincerely hope you will be able to join us on the 7th. We thank you for your patience and understanding.
Option 1 (default): You can attend – great! Your registration automatically rolls over to the new date – November 7th.
Option 2 (let us know): You can no longer attend, but you want to donate. You can leave your registration as a donation and feel good knowing you are supporting NTTR, DORBA, the Frisco Trail, and a cross country scholarship awarded through the Frisco Education Foundation.
Option 3 (let us know): You can no longer attend, and you want a refund. We can provide a refund less any incurred costs (awards, city services, etc).

NTTR SARS-COV-2 EVENT SAFETY GUIDELINES & PROTOCOLS
We at NTTR understand that 2020 has been a challenging time for many; especially related to the direct and indirect impact of the SARS-CoV-2 virus. First and foremost, on our minds is the health and safety of our friends, family, and communities. We cancelled or postponed all in-person events (group runs, races, etc.) at the beginning of the outbreak and have continued to follow the latest information as many of you have been doing. Our hearts and prayers extend to all our trail family and we encourage each individual and family to adopt a risk posture appropriate for their situation.
We also understand that exercising, good sleep, healthy eating, and reducing stress are the most important elements to being healthy and maintaining a healthy immune system and we are blessed enough to be passionate about a sport that largely takes place in outdoor, open spaces. As of Oct 1st, we will start to offer select events again for those who want the opportunity to participate in our trail community but we will have in place minimum guidelines as provided by national, state, and local authorities to help prevent the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
These guidelines will be enforced at our events and you may personally exercise additional measures that you feel are necessary. We will not tolerate disparaging remarks towards anyone at our events for practicing measures they feel are important to their health. Guidelines subject to change based on current situation and ongoing updates from authorities.
Individual Participant Guidelines:
1) Breaking cycle of exposure/infection:
a. Stay home if you are sick
b. Practice social distancing (maintain a distance of 6 ft.)
c. Use masks when social distancing is not practical/possible (masks not appropriate for anyone under 2 years old, has trouble breathing, or cannot remove mask unassisted)
2) Good hygiene practices:
a. Wash hands often with soap/water for at least 20 seconds
b. Use hand sanitizer (min. 60% alcohol) when soap & water are not available
c. Cover coughs and sneezes and avoid touching face (especially eyes, nose, mouth)
Event Guidelines & Protocols:
Follow all guidelines of our partner organizations, federal, state, and local authorities (e.g. masks on at stores if packet pickup is done before the event, etc.)
Temperature checks for all staff, volunteers, participants, or spectators at any event (you will be asked to leave if you exhibit a high temperature)
Face masks are required for entry to any event and should be used any time you are unable to maintain social distancing guidelines. Masks are not required to be worn on course unless social distancing cannot be maintained.
Socially distanced, wave starts (cohorts) of no more than 10 participants at a time; event participation will be capped based on venue to ensure social distancing can be maintained
All events are completely self-supported unless otherwise stated. Each participant is responsible for their own hydration and nutrition and for packing out what they pack in (no littering). If an event has support, only volunteers are allowed to interact directly with hydration and nutrition provided.
Hand sanitizer will be offered at the event location.
We will comply with authorities regarding reporting and guidance in the case that someone tests positive for COVID-19 following an NTTR event and we will alert participants of the same.
Notice that there is an enhanced risk of being in direct contact with anyone age 65 or older for 14 days after participation.

There are opportunities to staff aid stations, provide assistance with course navigation, packet pickup/registration and help at the start/finish line. All volunteers will receive a Frisco Trail Race shirt. Please use the button above or click here to Volunteer!
The trails will be marked with ground markings and color coordinated directional signage for each race distance. This race will be held on fast, single-track dirt trails. As is standard for trail races, the distance designation is merely an approximation. It's about the experience!

As we are all experiencing in our personal and professional lives, the impact of this long-term COVID 19 closure continues to stall and postpone all Texas community events. The Frisco Trail Race has not been excluded from this widespread impact. With the help and support of our City of Frisco partners, the current June 13th, 2020 race date has been adjusted.
The Frisco Trail Race, originally scheduled for June 13th, 2020, has been re-scheduled for Saturday October 31st, 2020. This date was selected with community, city, and runner feedback, along with consideration of other regional trail races.
We hope that you are as excited as we are, for this new Fall 2020 race date! However, with the many conflicting obligations we all manage, we understand that some registrants may not be able to accommodate this new race day. If this is the case, please email a refund request to NTTR, and the registration amount will be refunded, less UltraSignup service fees.
Unless otherwise requested, all other participants will automatically be re-registered for the new October 31st, 2020 date – no action is needed on your part!
