NCLT had planned for the race to be this year’s main fundraiser with participation from 150 individuals and local businesses. Due to current circumstances, NCLT has decided to hold a virtual race with the hope that next year we will gather together in person.
Virtual races allow participants to choose when and where they will accept the 5k challenge! You can create your own route based on where you feel the most comfortable - trails, roads, or even treadmill. When enjoying the outdoors, NCLT asks that racers follow the social distancing guidelines for the health and safety of all, in alignment with the state orders. If you would like to visit Crocker Conservation Area to complete your 5k, we will be providing suggested routes to those that register.
Interested in seeing more of NCLT's properties? Create your own 5k at any of NCLT’s 7 different conservation areas where you’ll see the diverse beauty of north central Massachusetts including plenty of rocks and mountain laurel in June. We encourage you to check out each of them for this virtual race or anytime you’re interested in getting out on the trails.
Registration for the virtual race will remain open until noon on 6/28.
Local time: 11:03 AM
Once registered you can run/walk your 5k anytime between 12:00am on 6/20 and 11:59pm on 6/28.
Results will be entered through self-reporting on Ultrasignup (see the "Record Results" button up top). You can do that via this website or through reminder emails that will be sent out periodically. The deadline for reporting your results is 11:59pm on 6/30.
Lastly, to receive your t-shirt before the race you must register by 6/1. If you register after that date you will still receive a t-shirt but we cannot guarantee that you will get it before the race.
