2021 Permits - Final Update for 2021 Miwok 100K
Last year, we were approaching the last aid station when covid cancelled the race. This year, we're near the start line, but due to the continuing covid conditions, we will not receive permits in time for the event. I am disappointed to tell you that the 2021 Miwok 100K is now officially a DNS (Did Not Start).
All pending credit card transactions on Ultrasignup for the 2021 Miwok 100K will be cancelled so there's no charge to you. Our 2020 entrants can apply their $54 credit/lottery bypass to the 2022 Miwok 100K, and there will be space in 2022 for runners who were not on the 2020 list. Everyone: BE SURE to check the Miwok 100K website in September 2021 so that you know when and where to register for our 25th anniversary Miwok 100K Trail Race, rescheduled for May 7, 2022.

JOIN US FOR OUR EPIC 25th ANNIVERSARY. The Miwok 100K is one of the most beautiful and iconic trail ultramarathons in the world, with spectacular views of San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge, Sausalito, Mount Tamalpais, the ancient redwoods and the Point Reyes National Seashore.
Local time: 9:43 AM
The course is hilly (11,800 feet of gain), featuring single-track trails and dirt roads with less than a mile of paved road. The race is very competitive at the front, and a rewarding challenge for all. Start/Finish is in the quaint town of Stinson Beach, nestled against Mount Tam, with several excellent cafés, a small market, lodging (walk to the start!), and more.
Our 2021 runners will receive top quality Miwok logo men’s and women’s rabbit race shirts, a super-cool trucker hat, ultra-specific goodie bag items, and a custom Miwok finisher’s medal. Course marking is excellent, and you'll be supported by some of the best volunteers in the business. We hire professional medical for all aid stations for blister assistance and those occasional skinned knees and such.
The Miwok 100K has focused on sustainability for over a decade, with recycling, food composting, and waste minimization. Runners bring their own cups/hydration system, and leftover food is donated to a local shelter.
We have runners from many states and countries, and many walks of life. We have long supported local organizations that help disadvantaged and hungry children, and donate to a variety of local organizations, including Pinkathon/Breast Cancer Research Foundation, The Edible Schoolyard Project, and EatLearnPlay.org, which provides food and support to kids in Oakland and the surrounding area.
The Miwok 100K is a WS Qualifier.
