Event Info

The Hammies is a new Trail Run series that hops around to different parks in BirmingHAM, AL. The trail run series is designed for all skill levels of runners with easy to moderate difficulty trails incorporated in our race loops. Our goal is to offer a fun racing platform at local venues on a professional level.

The trails at Trussville Sports Complex do not get enough credit! Rocky is an understatement. Sharp climbs, and sharp rocks cover this entire trail system. Just what you want, right!? Ample parking and premo facilities lend a hand to this particular race. We love these underrated trails in Trussville.

Parking will be at the parking lot above the softball fields.

Racers will take off at 8:30 AM and 8:35 for 10 miles (2 laps) and 5 miles. The course will begin on the green way path and leading into the full loop around the Trussville park. Course will be well marked on race day.

Race Time / Details

Race Registration and Packet Pick Up will open at 8am at the Main Pavilion

Racers will start at 8:30AM for the 10 mille run (2 laps). And 8:35AM for the 5 mile run. (1 lap)


The course will begin on the green way path and leading into the full loop around the Trussville park. Course will be well marked on race day.
