Introducing the "Full Mo" 50k
It's finally here! Your chance to experience the iconic Monon Trail in its entirety in 1 shot. This 50k course begins in Sheridan, IN, against the peaceful backdrop of Indiana cornfields. We then head south for a beautiful run through burgeoning Hamilton county, lively Broad Ripple, and finally, the undeniably urban home stretch. You will travel beneath the ramps of I-70 and I-65, passing parks, residential areas, and light industrial zones. We'll end the morning at the 10th Street trailhead, which is just a block from downtown Indy and a (responsible) celebration for all!
Local time: 8:01 PM
This is the perfect trail run for experienced ultra-marathoners and those looking to add their first ultra-marathon to their resume. This point-to-point race features a slight downhill pitch the entire way and will be run in early June before the midwest temperatures get too oppressive. It will feature 5-6 aid stations as well as sustenance upon completion.
As with all MTC events, proceeds will be donated in support of the MSA Foundation.
We are looking forward to experiencing this journey with you!
A few notes from the race director:
1). Transportation will be provided back to the start every 30 minutes beginning 3.5hrs after the race start.
2). Medals and singlets will be awarded to all finishers, designs will be unveiled soon
1). The Monon road crossings, during the 1st year of this event, will not be policed. Most of these can be easily navigated, though there are a few that you should proceed through with extra caution, these will be talked through prior to the race.
*Note, all registrations after May 10th will receive their Full Mo singlets in mid-June.
