Welcome to the second annual Vagabond Endurance Summer Bash!
We cordially invite you to sign up, dig into the dirt, and take in the beautiful views. This 4 hour event will take place on a 5+ mile loop course with a fully stocked aid station with prepared foods for you to enjoy when you're not out on the trail earning the right to eat however much you want. The course will consist of the Lake Shore Trail at beautiful Lake Norman State Park - in other words, it's just downright pretty to be on.
Unfamiliar with a time based event, here's the simple breakdown - as long as you run at least one loop you've completed the race. You can run as much or as little as you choose in this 4 hour time period, it just has to be on the assigned course.
Want more incentive? This is a competition for glory, honor, and bragging rights! All participants will be split into two teams: The Rattlesnakes and The Great Ones. Rory will head The Great Ones and Dan will lead The Rattlesnakes. At the end of the 4 hours, the team with the most loops clocked on the course will get to raise the trophy of honor and be hailed as Kings and Queen until the following year's event. Free Entry Raffle - For those suffering from financial strains or other issues that may prevent you from having the funds to register for the race, please reach out to us. We have three slots available we will be raffling off to try and help share some love and community to the runners around us in need. No one will know that you messaged us, and we will not share your information from registration with any other entrant. Your privacy is yours to keep and we will not intrude on this. This community loves to help one another, and we want to make sure we do that as well.
This race is going to be an amazing experience, and just one helluva fun time. Read below for some more swag details if you're not already convinced.
Shirt: All entrants registered before June 10th will be guaranteed a soft and comfortable t-shirt with our badass logo on the front to show off to all your friends who didn't come.
Finisher Award: All runners who complete at least one 5 mile loop will receive a finishers award for the event
This is going to be as much a summer party as it will be a trail race. So come out and get dirty with us!
