Registration closes: Sat, Aug 6 @ 6:30AM

Race Information

Join in on an ultra running adventure with distances including a TRAIL MARATHON, 50K, 50 Miler, and 100K of unspoiled, rarely traversed High Sierra Trails.
Trail Marathon and 50K runners will start at the Kirkwood Mountain Resort and finish at the full service Strawberry Lodge along US Highway 50 in Kyburz.
50 Miler and 100K runners will retrace their steps back through the wilderness for a completely different running experience, below a sky full of stars and have an epic finish back at the Kirkwood Mountain Resort.
Rising above the shore of Lake Tahoe, these ultra races follow trails that are rarely traveled by the weekender and are what many would describe as diamonds in the rough.
20 years in the making, Troy’s California Trail Runs presents the Kirkwood Ultra Challenge. Join us for over 20,000 feet of altitude gain nestled within the peaks of the High Sierra and among the wilderness of the El Dorado forests.
These races are comparable to the Western States 100 and many others of that caliber. Be ready and see you in August!
