Killer Creek 50k/25k/8 Mile/12 Hour

The Creek is about to get wicked! Take your chances with the 8 mile course once, twice or four times to hit your distance.(8 Mile, 25k, and 50k). And we're introducing a new 12 hour option this year for you to test your will and get as many loops as possible. And if you get 7 (56 miles) loops, you'll earn the new "Serial Killer" belt buckle for completing all three of the other distances!.

Killer Creek will take place on October 28th 2023. These trails are perfect for those interested in getting their first ultra finish, or for the experienced distance runner to set a new PR as these trails move fast. If you’re looking to take the next step up from a 5k or a half, check out the 8 mile or 25k option. These distances will challenge you and help you build your training to continue to push forward to even farther distances.

We want to see you expand your base as a runner and push yourself to the next level when you are ready. Our races are designed to give you that chance, and we are here to help you at each step. As such, we will be at the Start/Finish line (crew corner as well) to give you support and encouragement the whole day. Grab your friends, bring your family, and have them set up a tent for you at the Crew Corner and we’ll stop by and make sure you’re pushing through to the end!

Speaking of Crew Corner: At the Start/Finish line, we will be having a tent city for runners to set up. Have your gear waiting for you every 8 miles just in case you need a new shirt, a fresh pair of socks, or just a hug from a friend or loved one to remind you that you signed up for this and to get back out there and finish it. There will be another aid station out on the course, but this will be the most well stocked one, and it also may have some trick-or-treat fun for those hanging back and cheering runners on!

We want runners of all levels at this race to feel like they have a shot of starting and finishing. If you have a questions about which distance you should be signing up for reach out to us before registering. We’ll be happy to talk to you about your current level of experience and what you may need to do to step up to that next rung.

All Runners who sign up by October 3rd will be guaranteed a race T-Shirt. After Oct. 3rd what's left from our order will go first come first serve to registrants.

All Finishers will receive a bomb-ass medal we will be displaying soon when we have the mock-ups completed!

There will be awards for the top 3 male and female runners (no age groups). We have something wicked and whimsical planned for this, and will announce more later when the concept is hammered out.

Packet Pickup: TBD

Race Day Packet Pickup: Although we will always prefer you pick up your packet beforehand, we will have a pickup table set up at the Start/Finish line by 6:30am. Race day mornings can be hectic and can get crowded so do your best to pick up your packet beforehand so you don’t have to worry about waiting in line for you bib and the bathroom…

There will be no refunds for this race. If government restrictions require the race to be postponed we will wait to hold the race at another date, or will make it a virtual event.
