A 50 Mile Trail Race in NYC's Backyard

THE OCTOBER 7 EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO UNSAFE WEATHER CONDITIONS. ALL ATHLETES PLEASE CHECK YOUR EMAIL FOR IMPORTANT RACE UPDATES.

On October 7, 2023 we will be hosting the second installment of the Hudson River 50 and the Hudson River Trail Marathon at the beautiful Palisades Interstate Park. This event is designed to test the limits of even the most seasoned ultra endurance competitors, with rugged trails, steep climbs, and fast competition. Yet anyone who takes on the challenge will also be rewarded with stunning views of the surrounding landscape and an epic adventure that’s impossible to beat this close to New York City.

We hope to see you out on the river in October!

Trials of Miles Racing

Over the last few years Trials of Miles Racing has put on world class events on the track, roads, and cross country trails. For the Hudson River 50 we've teamed up with Kilgore Racing to bring a world class ultra experience right into NYC's backyard!

Race for the River

We are very excited to have the support of Riverkeeper as an official Hudson River 50 race partner. For those of you not familiar with Riverkeeper, it’s an environmental organization tasked with protecting the Hudson River and the watersheds that provide NYC with its drinking water. Considering the importance of the river to this event, and the park in which the race takes place, the partnership is a natural fit.

Anytime someone signs up for this event $5 from their registration fee will be donated directly to Riverkeeper. Additionally, will be hosting a course preview run at the park and will be working with Riverkeeper on a river shoreline cleanup event that will take place immediately following the run. We’ll be sharing lots more about all of this in the coming weeks, but for now we encourage you to follow @riverkeeeper and to check out their website at www.riverkeeper.org to learn more about the important work they do.

Prize Money

There will be a $1500 prize for the first place male and female in the 50 miler. Second place and third place will take home $700 and $300 respectively. The top finishers in the Marathon will each take home $750 with the runner-ups taking home $250.
