Lake of Woods Run

Enjoy a 5K and 15K route at Lake of the Woods, a mountain lake on Highway 140 between Medford and Klamath Falls. The start/finish will be the Rainbow Bay day use area (same entrance as the main road to the marina/lodge). The 5K route is an out and back along well maintained gravel trail (to/from the Great Meadow) with a few sections of dirt/gravel trail (new start/finish this year). The 15K route is a loop around the lake on paved roads with a few sections of dirt/gravel trail (new start/finish this year). Aid stations are approximately at mile 3.5 and mile 7.0 and will have water.

After the run, be sure to treat your friends or family to a day of swimming, hiking, fishing, camping, boating, great food, etc. at the resort (your parking pass is for all day). Also be sure to check out the new lodge/restaurant. All within walking distance of the start/finish line.

You can register the day of the race. If you plan to register race day, please show up by 8:45 as the registration line is long. Parking ($8 per vehicle) is included in your registration fee. Race Day packet pickup and registration will be at the start/finish line from 8:30 AM to 9:15 AM.

Credit card payments will be available for race day registrations at start/finish. Race day entry fees increase by $5.

15K start at 9:30am. 5K start at 9:45

There will not be a kids run this year due to limited resources. Kids under 12 are free and can run the 5K with a parent or older sibling. This years event will be "low key". We are keeping race fees low in order to encourage participation. There won't be finish line medals, t-shirts, or age group awards. We have a limited number of volunteers.

The Linkville Lopers Board thanks you for entering this event. Your entry fee is contributed to the Linkville Lopers. The Lopers are a non profit local organization in Klamath Falls Oregon. Our Board consists of volunteers from the community. Our running/walking club has been around since the 1970's and has contributed hundreds of hours to organizing local running/walking events, building trails, maintaining parks, etc. Your entry fee will be used for donations to parks, building and maintaining trails, organizing local running events, etc.

Thanks again!
