Description

Ring in the New Year with this classic 8k trail race highlighting some of the best trails at Anne Springs Close Greenway in Fort Mill, SC.

The start is at the Rush Pavilion on the ASC Greenway at 10:00 AM. Bib pickup will start at 9:00 AM at the same location. Registrants will receive their pick of a bell; awards will be given to overall and age group winners. Join the Rock Hill Striders for a low-key event to start your year on a healthy stride.

Registering is required for our permit and insurance purposes.

History

The Ring In races have been held for several years, always at the same location, but with varying lengths, depending on the year (18K in 2018, etc.). That model, however, was not going to work in the long run so the decision was made to add the race to the 8K series and settle on the 8K distance. We think that this is a good distance for New Year's Day.
