Description
The Fire Trail Running Festival is a trail run at night that includes 8K, 25K, and 50K distances through the scenic grasslands and woodlands of Guadalupe River State Park with LIVE music, located in South Texas.
Race Information
Saturday:
- 7:00 PM Packet Pickup Opens
- 7:50 PM Packet Pickup Closes
- 8:00 PM 50K, 25K & 8K Start
Sunday:
- 5:00 AM is the cut-off time for all races
- 5:30 AM is the hard cut-off time for all races
Race Loops/Rules
Each loop is a 5.11-mile loop, the distances will run as follows...
50K - 6 loops
25K - 3 loops
8K - 1 loop
Headlamps are required, you are running in the dark.
We ask that everyone bring a water bottle, this is a cup-less event.
And lastly, please do not litter!
Awards/Merch
Every runner will get a Fire Trail Running Festival Craft Sportswear short sleeve shirt and a finisher race medal. The First, Second, and Third places male and First, Second, and Third places female of each distance will get a trophy. The last person to finish each distance will get a DFL award... "dead freakin last."
Texas Summer Night Series
This race is a part of the Texas Summer Night Series. Anyone who completes all 3 races in the series will receive a unique & high-quality T-Shirt & case that holds all the race medals in the series. Check out the website above for more info.
