Trail runners, this is what you’ve been waiting for—the fourth edition of Ring the Springs is here! We’re talking about an epic ultra that takes you on a jaw-dropping journey through the best Colorado Springs has to offer. From the towering peaks above the city to the hidden gems of its urban parks, this race isn’t just a run—it’s an adventure.

Choose your challenge: 100K, 50K, or 30K—each one promises epic trails, wild terrain, and those moments that remind you why you love this sport. Whether you’re chasing a PR, your first ultra, or just that post-race high, we can’t wait to see you out there crushing it!

Course Details

The 100K distance is an unforgettable journey into Colorado’s rugged wilderness. With a time limit of 24 hours, runners cover 63.3 miles, tackling 9,877 feet of elevation gain and reaching a maximum of 11,488 feet. Starting at Rock Ledge Ranch in Garden of the Gods, runners set off on the Midland Trail, weaving through historic neighborhoods and scenic parks before ascending North Cheyenne Cañon. The course tops out on Mount Rosa at 11,488 feet, followed by a thrilling descent. A final climb up the Columbine Trail and a return to Garden of the Gods lead to a triumphant finish at Rock Ledge Ranch.

The 50K course is a stunning loop showcasing Colorado Springs’ rugged beauty. With a 10-hour time limit, runners cover 32.3 miles, climbing 5,333 feet and reaching a max elevation of 9,085 feet. Starting at Rock Ledge Ranch, the route winds through Bear Creek Regional Park and North Cheyenne Cañon, offering steep climbs, technical descents, and breathtaking vistas. The course finishes back at Garden of the Gods, delivering a thrilling mix of dirt trails and some pavement—a true highlight of Colorado Springs’ trails.

The 30K course is an adventurous trek through iconic trails. Starting at Rock Ledge Ranch, runners tackle climbs, descents, and scenic paths through Bear Creek Regional Park and North Cheyenne Cañon. While it includes more pavement than most trail ultras, it still offers plenty of rugged terrain and stunning views. The race culminates with the towering red rocks of Garden of the Gods and finishes at Rock Ledge Ranch—a daring and rewarding 30K challenge.
