Description

This Veteran’s Day Weekend, get ready  to dig deeper and run farther to benefit America’s fighting men and women.  Our armed services demonstrate extreme endurance on a daily basis during combat operations, and this 24 Hour Endurance Run is a small effort to say thank you for all they endure.  Runners will cover as much distance as possible in a 24 hour period on a loop course at Camp Dawson.  Runners will check in at the Start/Finish Line at the completion of each loop where a scorer will record the distance covered.  Run, jog, walk, or crawl as much as you possibly can, and know that you are doing something great for those who sacrifice so much.  There will be food and drink available for all participants at an aid station at the Start/Finish Line.  Runners are also welcome to run as much as they want in the continuous 24 hours, and can leave and return as they wish.  Whether you cover 10 miles or 100 miles, the effort is what counts.  Push yourself beyond your limits in honor of Veterans Day.
