Overview

The focus of this race is a well run, beginner friendly and fun competition. The race will take place at the Enterprise South Nature Park. The course is fairly simple and all on perhaps the least technical trail in the region. Start with a 2-mile trail run, then jump on your bike to travel all 10 miles of mountain bike singletrack. Wild Trails has partnered with Rock/Creek, Trek and the local Trek bike dealers (Scott's Bikes in Cleveland, Bear Creek Bikes in Dalton, and Trek Chattanooga). This will also serve as the final event in the 2013 RiverRocks outdoor festival, the premiere fall adventure sports festival.

The run portion begins with a short road section to spread the field before taking participants on a short run through the park's extensive double-track trails. The course then passes the lake before returning to the transition area. The track is wide enough for side-by-side running and with just a couple of moderate hills should be fast and easy.

The bike portion includes the full Black Forest, TNT and Log Rhythm loops, including the BRAND NEW sections of connector trail that prevent two-way traffic between these loops. It's fast and flowy, machine-cut singletrack without any significant technical features.
